Happy Birthday Caitlynn!!!

Yesterday the youngest of my bunch turned 4! And oh what fun it was!

It all started with PRESENTS!!!

And what did she ask for?? Coloring books

Clothes

 

Some littlest pet shop's

And of course some new shoes!

And what was under the blanket??? She didn't specifically ask for it, But it was something I found that I knew she would love....

And she does love it!

It is just the perfect size for her  and has cute little bins for all of her coloring books and supplies!!! 

Then she got an extra surprise of gifts from her Grandpa!!!

A brand new pillow pet! And she is in love with everything!

Then for cake...

Really I think this little girl will be getting some sort of piggy cake every year for the rest of her life :)

You should have heard her squeal when she saw it :)

And happy Birthday to my sweet Hubby! Who didn't mind giving up his spotlight for his little princess!

V is for Valentine

We have started working on our letters here :). This week we are working on Vv. Yesterday Caitlynn made A Valentine and a Valentines sun catcher!

 To make her Valentine we used the bottom of a heart shaped Chocolate box added glue and crumpled up tissue paper. It turned out so cute! 

We are going to hang it up in the girls room!
Then for the sun catcher

She used the insert from the chocolate box and some red paint, and I was surprised at how cute it turned out! LOL.

Today they are making Violet Love bugs.

When they are dry we will add some heart stickers and eyes LOL.

Tomorrow I need one more V craft, I'm thinking a Vase (paper)with flowers....
Anyone have any more Ideas?????

The cutest little pies!

Now most of the time I can say for sure without a doubt that when I bake something it probably won't be pretty but it will taste good :). Well for Christmas my mother in law got me the cutest little thing :) Called a "pocket pie mold" from William Sonoma 

Pretend the picture is white and a star... That is what I got but I can't find a picture of it and well it is just to much work to take a pic of mine!

This is the most awesome thing ever! It makes little cute hand held pies, and yesterday I even used it to make PB&J for the kids for snack at school and press it together like an uncrustable!

But really who wouldn't want little star shaped apple pies for snack!

I can't even tell you how happy my kids were after school!

Yum!

Now I need to figure out how not to burn the edges LOL.

A happy young artist!

Caitlynn is my little artist :). At 3 years old we never have enough crayons, chalk, pens or sharpened pencils. She colors all the time, Luckily she has stopped trying to color the walls LOL. For Christmas she recieved bunches of coloring books and crayons and is just in heaven picking a picture to color :).

Then for Christmas she recieved the best present for a 3 year old (or 5 or 8 or 10 because they have all used it LOL)

The Discovery kids Color me playhouse....

She is going to have enough coloring to last her at least a few months LOL

And they can (all 4 kids) fit in it  with toys and books!

I can not believe that it is 2011 already. 2010 just flew by and seems like it was gone in the blink of an eye. Then here sit the kids another year older winter break is almost over and school is starting up again Monday and wow I'm not even sure where to start.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and new years, Ours was fun, busy, and yet peaceful because hubby was able to take a week of vacation from work and spend the time at home hanging out :).

Christmas eve we went to my Aunts house, I always love getting together with family!

Then Christmas morning the kids were spoiled rotten :)

Well there just weren't many picture of the kids opening presents from mommy,  and daddy, and grandma Karen and Santa..
But after breakfast the kids opened presents From Grandpa and we made sure to get a ton of those pictures!

First up was ponies! Love them!! They have played with them every single day :)

 A brand new learning system! The V-reader from V-tech!!! This is one awesome toy!!!!

busy busy busy

Things here have been busy to say the least. Last Wednesday Nathaniel had his winter recorder concert! He did wonderfully and hadn't told me before that he was doing the advanced songs!!! I am so proud of him!

Then Friday we got report cards. All of the kids were excited for us to see them! and all I could say was.. Wow my kids are smart LOL.

Brianna received all 3's (the best she can get for kindy). She needs to work on recognizing the uppercase letter Y, and the sounds for Y and TH. They say she has mastered everything else!

Alex received just about all 4's (that would be exceeds standards of learning 94% of the time). His handwriting has gone from a 2 (yeah he is an 8 year old boy.) to a 3. I am just blown away!

Nathaniel has raised every grade he got except math.. that went from a 91 to a 90.

Lets just say I am so very happy with them!

Today we painted Christmas ornaments for gifts,

The kids had alot of fun :)

Oh and on the table I rescued some packing paper that came in a package from amazon... It is PERFECT for covering the table LOL

Yay! The ornaments always come out so cute :)
