Happy Saint Patricks day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I seem to have caught my little trick playing leprechaun.. She likes to run around with messy hair and hide hairbrushes with camera cords in lunch boxes in the play area! Ha so I hope Everyone else is able to catch their leprechauns today and as inspiration let me show you Alex's school project.. He had to make a simple trap to catch a 3 inch leprechaun who is wreaking havoc in their class room... I mean this little guy is eating their candy messing up toys. And NOT putting them away! (Gasp, shock, and horror)

Here is the box he covered with black construction paper to blend into the chalkboard on it he drew a leprechaun and wrote: Leprechaun, please come in the box, there is money in there .
I fixed the spelling for you :)
The inside of the box he painted some leprechauns, used lots of colors and taped down some shiny pennies. The penny roll we filled with some cotton so it "looks" like a whole roll of penny'sWhen all set up it looks like this... He figures when the leprechauns take the roll of pennies the box will shut and they will be safely caught inside! Wish him luck!!!

1. I did NOT misplace my hairbrush this morning, and still can't find it... so I did NOT throw three girls messy hair into equally messy pony tails to go get the boys from school.. (and I do not think that it is in hiding with my camera cord.. nope not me!!!)

2. I was most definitely not complimented on how cute their hair was while at said school.. Actually it was a compliment of "you and the girls are aways so cute and put together....As I sat their in a BIG tee shirt and messy jeans b/c I spent all morning making tortillas for dinner and graham crackers for snacks..

3. I did not manage to use 25 lbs of flour since January... how in the world... I mean 25lbs and I only have like half a cup left.....

4. I did not tell hubby that he better stop at Costco for more SOON.. Because I don't like to bake or anything yeahhhh

5. I did NOT set a record and get all kids bathed, pajamaed (yeah I made my own word what of it), and read to and all but asleep by 7:30 Woooohooooo!!! Go me!!!

6. I am not in complete denile that I will have a 9 year old on Wednesday... I mean there is no way my sweet baby boy has grown that much... nope no way no how..

7. I did not almost jump for joy when he mentioned wanting batman comics for his birthday!!! he is getting them and guitar hero and a rock tumbler and a dinosaur movie ..

8. and last but not least, I DO NOT spoil my kids!!!! nope no way not me!!!

Hitting my head on the wall.....

Ok.. Say you had a 2 year old. Who up and potty trained herself. And said 2 year old hasn't had any accidents for 2 weeks, whether naked, clothed, in panties, or in a diaper.Awake or asleep (though she has only gone to bed in either a diaper or naked). So you decide to put panties jammies on her for bed last night...

Do you think she would

A) sleep through and stay dry

B) wake up use the potty and go back to bed

C) wake up get to the bathroom but not make it in time
or

D) wake up crying because she peed all over everything, including her new Minnie mouse jammies from her aunt..





If you choose D you are correct!
Yes it was a super fun night here.... I guess we won't be going anywhere without diapers for a while.. Sigh.

No pictures?!?!?

Yes well I have some how misplaced the cord for my camera.. I'm pretty sure it is here, I just can't seem to find it. Knowing my luck my 2 year old walked away with it to make a leash for her doggy or something. So for the time being I have no new pictures.
On to other news Our weather Has been incredibly odd. Just last week we had "some" snow... (not even a full inch really). But then it warmed up... and it got REALLY warm. Like summer warm. I'm talking it is in the 70's little girls running around in tee shirts and skorts weather. Well this morning we woke up to a dusting of snow and a day in the 30's... Sigh.. And all of this weather change has aggravated every one's allergies, Coughing, sneezing, runny noses, sore throats, Yup that is all 4 of my children... And yes Every last one of them woke up like that the day AFTER I opened our windows to air out the house :(... I always seem to do that blah.. Well since today was chilly and we all seem to have the yuckies I decided to make a big pot of steel cut oatmeal. I added diced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Then a dash of vanilla. Alex walked into the kitchen and asked "Do I smell....... Homemade oatmeal?".....He can always make me giggle. :)
So that has been the extent of our week. We all enjoyed the beautiful weather, got sick and had "homemade oatmeal".

1. I did NOT forget to post this last week!!!

2. I did NOT spend hours with hubby and the kiddos at the park on Sunday, and I did in now way no how forget to bring my camera, Thus missing such classic moments as Caitlynn spills yogurt on her back while trying to throw it away. And Alex "hiding" from Nathaniel behind the tire swing...
I was also not amazed that at said park Caitlynn wore panties the whole time without one accident!!!!

3. I am NOT sitting here on the internet enjoying a break because 5 out of 6 of the kids in my house are asleep!!! and have been since 7:45

4. I WOULD never toot my own horn for getting 5 kiddos in bed and asleep by 7:45! That is just so below me!

5. I am NOT putting off doing the dishes and vacuuming so that I can post this... and I don't have laundry to do either!!!!

6. I am not half asleep and now out of Not me's! to add to this post so i am not going to just hit the publish post button right now.

It is just so nice outside!

All weekend has been just gorgeous!! We spent an extra 2 hours at the playground at the school on friday. We spent most of the day outside on Saturday. Yesterday We packed a lunch and went to a local park for a couple of hours. It has been WONDERFUL!!! To bad this weekend is supposed to be chilly again. We shall see! After leaving the Air and Space museum I got some pitures of other buildings, It was so pretty out.

And Lastly Brianna throwing a fit! She was so done and ready to be home, we sort of pushed the limits with how late we were out, but she was fairly well behaved on the trip home.

It was such a fun trip we are all looking forward to going back!!!
