Making soft pretzels!

OK, I know I promised this post days ago, but well thing got busy here really fast. Monday was our first day watching my friends little girl... from... 8am-9pm..Yeah it's a long time. But our girls get along so it isn't all that bad just busy :). Then Tuesday we pick up another friends boy from school and he hangs out with us until his mom can get of work and come get him. Then Wednesday we have the first friends little girl again and pick up her first grader... Like I said BUSY... and it also means more vacuuming and less blogging...I'm sure it will all even out soon though !

Then because it was lunch time when they were done we decided to have them for lunch, some little smokes and carrots and lunch was ready to be enjoyed by all!
You know I think they really enjoy making their own food.


That night after the kids went to bed I made more pretzels, but I brushed them with butter and sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar. In the morning I threw them in the toaster oven to warm them up. Then put some cream cheese on them, Yummmm!!!

cleaning and getting ready

Well yesterday was Saturday and that is our cleaning day, we work on the whole house, top to bottom. Yesterday though we were doing an extra bit here and there because come Monday I will be watching my friends little girl (she is Caitlynn's age). Two days a week Monday and Wednesday. On Wednesday we will also be picking up her big sister from school (she is in first grade). We are all super excited to have them come over. I am working out in my head how our schedule will be adjusting, but I don't think it will be very hard. Yayyy, oh and look our play area is all clean!!!! This is were I expect the girls to spend most of their time...


Lots of fun! And today as a treat the kids and I are going to be making soft pretzels! yumm.
We are going to be using this recipe.
And the dough is rising! I plan on giving the kids each their own peice of dough to shape (and taking pictures) See you later!

Aerogarden and a project!

Well my Aerogarden is so much fun, one of the plants has really almost exploded LOL. It is HUGE. Another is doing well, but I think we have one dud.. It is still getting bigger, but nothing like the other 2. I can't wait to see some flowers!
Then my project, I went to Joanns the other day and Caitlynn saw these fabrics
I will be making her a blanket out of them, not sure when it will get done but it will LOL (the pink will be the backing). She is so cute she keeps trying to cuddle with the fabric saying, "my woof woof", She loves dogs :).

Christmas #4!!!

Last week was fun, and busy, filled with science projects, art projects, and all things Winter break. It was full of fun with a good dose of disagreements and fighting. And it was over way to quickly. Last weekend we spent saturday and sunday at my Sister in law's house, having a late Christmas with my father in law step mother in law and both my sister in laws. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast!
They got to open presents and play dress up.
And play with new toys.
And best of all They got to play football with Daddy and Grandpa

They weren't exactly happy when it was time to go in,
But it is January and it started to get a little chilly out


Then it was time to watch football with daddy and grandpa!And you can't forget the wresting & rough housing with daddy and grandpa :)

Yes I think maybe
Yes this is exactly where the toy store threw up....or maybe Santa dropped his toy bag and it exploded ... Maybe... Or Maybe it is just a very fun Christmas for 4 very spoiled children!!!!!
Here is the one toy I have been excited about for months and months, and it hasn't disappointed The girls LOVE IT!!!
They have played and cooked and played some more
and played for hours.. together!!! It is AWESOME! And while they did the boys did this

So in a nutshell that was Christmas... and my house still hasn't recovered... Trash day isn't until Wednesday's...So how was Christmas for everyone else??

Christmas Eve

It has been a little bit but I've been a little busy, ya know with christmas and all I have had no time to sit on the computer... heck I have had like to time for me...But that is another subject and it involves sleepless children and such LOL.. Well Christmas eve.. We always go to my aunt's house and do dinner and presents and get together and just enjoy everyones company and conversation before going home to frantically assemble presents and get ready for Santa's late night visit.

It's FRIDAY!!!!!

Friday is the best day of the week, especially for my boys Friday is ice cream day Yayyy! (OK I really have nothing to go with that... I just wanted to let you know, so there... um yeah..)
OK, today has been a yuck rainy, cold nasty day... I mean it is December, where is our snow????
So I took the respite from the rain to take pictures of the girls getting ready to go and getting the boys at school.. it was funAll bundled up and ready to go!
And this is how our day looked

Yes I see you too.Now every day we go to the school a little early and meet with some other parents and their children, We all bring snacks to share (b/c well the kids are going to share regardless of whether we brought enough or not). And then the kids run around the cafeteria and play, it is fun :) and we have made quite a few good friend there.
